Actually don't have my food planned out today. I have leftover fruit / veggie trays from last night's game night with friends, so I am sure they will have some attention today.
This morning I have to work with my horses before it starts raining, go ahead and get the chickens and rabbits taken care of. A friend asked for some eggs so of course my chickens have stopped laying. Cooperative animals. Need to see if I have anymore tomatoes need picking in the garden.

This afternoon is laundry and kitchen duty until time to head across town for my evening 5k. It is rain or shine, so I am hoping if the weather turns it is JUST rain and not a storm so I can still work my time.

So here's what I"m thinking.....

B - mint cookie / skim milk
L - shrimp, tomatoes, peppers if any are left
S - cottage cheese / SF jello with fruit
D - tilapia and veggies maybe?
S - fruit and veggie tray stuff

Well since you asked... I have not had my WLS yet but I am trying to be very good. My sister, son, and I are going to take my Mother out for Mothers Day. We are going to her favorite restaurant which is Mexican. So I am going to have some kind of fish as my main meal. I'm going to try and stay away from the chips and salsa as they are my weekness. No as far as home, if I can keep Cleo out of my way, I'm going to try cottage cheese /sf jellow this afternoon as my snack. This morning I had my protein breakfast shake. For dinner???? I have no clue yet.

Oh, by the way, I just had to brag about my cat Cleo. He has found that he really likes to be brushed. So when I came home from work yesterday he had put his brush in my chair and was laying on it ready for when I walked in the door... What a hoot my cat is...

 Good Cleo!
Sailor likes being brushed until she realizes it's a brush doing that to her. Then she bites it until it goes away.

My husband and kids made me breakfast in bed this morning.  He did so good!!  One very moist scrambled egg and a little salsa on the side for a huevos rancheros breakfast.  This is the first time eating eggs post op and I was really scared they'd make me sick - since it seems so many here seem to have trouble with them.  Good news is I didn't throw up but it was weighing pretty heavy in my pouch.  I think I had too much.  Not a good feeling.

Then my oldest daughter and I went on a very difficult 2 mile walk that's mostly uphill. I am currently trying to re-hydrate my body!

I have no idea what plans my family has for me today but I have to work on my Sunday School lesson (I've been off for three weeks!) and bake a couple loaves of bread for the sacrament and an order.

As far as food, I have nothing planned.  I got to sleep in a little so my eating schedule is out of whack.  All I know is I need to incorporate more fiber into my diet.

New plan: Get more protein, eat more calories. Oh, yes: and stop skipping my walk. Will never feel like going for a walk, so might as well quit waiting until I feel like it.

Coffee: 2 cups of 1/5 caffeine / 4/5 decaf with half & half
B -- Strawberry protein smoothie with nonfat milk:  Increase from 14g pro to 22g!
L --  Salmon, 3 oz:  20g
S -- 1/4 C yogurt, nf milk, some kind of flavoring:  14g
D --  Chicken thigh, 3 oz:  20g
S --  1 string cheese  6g

Totals: approx. 84g protein, 658 Cal.
Hmm... still low on calories.

Today I had a little mental personal victory because I went to my morning Zumba class in this outfit...flabby loose skin be gosh darned. I am usually super self consious about my marks and scars and skin but I just get so hot I decided to heck with it.
