Poll about iron

I have no idea how much iron infusions cost but I bet it's not cheap.  I think you may be right that you don't even realize how tired or weak you are with such low iron because you're just used to it.  You might feel really good after the infusions.

I take Bariatric Advantage 60 mg Iron with 250mg Vit C.

I can not stand these.  The 60 mg Iron is Lemon-Lime flavor and I might as well chew on a Pine-sol tablet.  All the other flavors I like.  It's also not worth it buying the smaller doses (better flavors) and doubling or tripling up because it ends up being about 50% more.  I love B.A.'s vitamins but at my 6 month check up my labs came back and my iron was really low.  They had me on the 29 mg dose, so I'm upped it on my own.  Not realizing what the recommendations are for menstruating women; I was sort of mislead on this one.  I am due for my 1 year check up soon with labs and I will be particularly interested in my Iron level.  I've been taking the 60 mg since Dec.  The physical problems I had (really bad painful periods) has let up since I upped the iron so I'm hoping it's at a decent level now.

I am glad you posted this because it's giving me some good resources for other brands.
