Did my Pouch Shrink?

So, some of you know I had surgery last Thursday & they repaired 3 internal hernia's. Before the surgery I could consume around 3 oz of food per meal & had no problems with any foods. Since the surgery however, I can barely eat 1 oz of food & nothing tastes good to me at all. Do you think that while I was in the hospital & only on IV fluids, ice chips & water my pouch shrank to the couple Tbsp size again. I really have not eaten a whole lot since my surgery, nothing tastes good, I taste salt like mad in everything which grosses me out. I'm not liking having issues with foods now. Lol I wanna be able to get all my protein in & be good to go.

i would guess abdominal swelling in general would push on your pouch and make it a little more sensitive. i bet a few days of healing will work wonders on it! take care of yourself.
