Numbness & Tingling in my leg

 About a year before my surgery I had a fall and it put pressure on my sciatic nerve, it made my toes go numb and some numbness down my leg.  Its actually in the back but if feels like hip pain.  and its weird, kinda hard to discribe, I at first thought i had some sort of mild stroke, The only thing that helped me was motrin, which i can no longer take due to RNY. Talk to your doc, for me what also helped was cold compress for 30 min then a hot one, the heating pad was my friend.  Hope this helps

do you still have this pain?  I had this same problem although I have no problem what caused it.  I herniated a disc and it was causing the radiating pain down my right leg with severe hip pain which started first.  I had an epidural injection which really helped. I still have some hip pain but I also have hip arthritis.

If you are still having problems, you might look into epidurals - you can get a series of 3 if needed.  So far, I dont need another one but I can get one if I need it.

I just had surgery to Feb. 10th same thing I'm experiencing. What did they tell you? My appointment is not tell the 28th of this month.
