Thank you Kelly! I'm also going to print this out to follow. It can be a juggling act each day if you don't follow a schedule:)

Kelly,
I really like these schedules but I would have to alter it a little since I take Synthroid at night. Could I do the following schedule and still get everything in without interfering with absorption?

Breakfast: multi, calcium, B12, D3
Lunch: calcium
Snack: calcium
Dinner: multi, iron, C
Bedtime: Synthroid

Thank you for your help and words of wisdom.

Lillian

Sure, that works.

There are really about a million ways you could do it, it's just important to find what works for you.

I just had my surgery on Wednesday and came home from the hospital last night.  I want to start my vitamins today, but I haven't found calcium citrate in a small enough pill.  Any help is appreciated.

Citracal petites are probably the smallest, and they still aren't very small.  Calcium citrate is a big mineral.  If you put it in a tiny pill, you'd have to take a whole bunch of them.  As it is, the petites only have 200 mg per pill, so you'd need eight to ten of them a day.

You can buy chewable calcium citrate online, or you can buy Upcal D, which is a powder that you can mix in any drink.  It has no taste.  I order it from Colonial Medical.  You can also cut the pills into smaller pieces, if you want.
