avatar

Any suggestions on how to download a pic for your avatar?? I tried using a photo from my computer pics , but they are not the right size?

I had to shrink mine with picture software and then upload it.

 Thanks! I've been playing around with Photoshop and Picasa,but I'll have to figure it out another time. I was trying to put a face with a name,but it wasn't as easy as I thought. I'm sure it's easy if you know what you are doing...lol     I'll keep trying:)  

 They didn't make things easy to do here on OH. It took me quite a few tries to get my avatar pic. Now I'm trying to edit my ticker. I wanted 2 but I think I have 3 and don't know how to remove the extra one. And I actually consider myself to be computer literate lol

 I had that same prob but I dont remember how I fixed it, sorry

 I thought I added a ticker too,but that's not showing either. LOL I thought I was computer literate myself! I'll get it someday by accident. That's usually how it happens,and I don't even know what I did. All in all it's not a priority. The support on this site is what's important,and it is awesome! Thanks everyone ,and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! 

I had to host my picture at photobucket in order for it to work.  Even when I had it sized to the requirements, it still wouldn't work for me.
