Just another 'First' that is bound to occur...

...and that would be my first stall...

It seems that I'm taking this a little more in stride than I have other developments that I perceived to be less than ideal...perhaps because I've had some measureable success thus far, perhaps because of the NSVs...

I've read enough posts on this forum about others freaking out about stalls and then those stalls resolving themselves to know that this is likely temporary...could be a week or several...I am certain that is only temporary...we'll find out, though...

When you're losing weight rapidly and then you just stop losing for no apparent reason, it's a little disconcerting.  I don't weigh myself often, and when I do it's "unofficial," meaning I won't update my tracker until I go back to the doctor.  But, I noticed that I stalled out during weeks 3 and 4 and if I hadn't have been a regular reader of this forum, I would have wondered what the heck was wrong with me!  I am 100% compliant on my surgeon's plan!  Thank goodness I knew ahead of time that it was possible to just not lose for a while, even when you're doing everything correctly.

Here's hoping that your stall is over quickly.

So far, I haven't heard a story where anyone stopped losing completely as early out as you, so I don't think you have to worry.

You'll find that during this stall, you will still be losing inches.  It's a little freaky how much smaller you can be without losing any weight.

That's good news 'cause I still want the trousers to my suit to fit a little less tightly than they do, now ...

The thing that kills me is that my favorite pair of jeans are SWIMMING on me (think clown suit), but the waist band still fits.  I'm beginning to think that I might have a distorted idea of how clothes should feel on me.

I like my clothes loose. Loose = comfortable. A couple of pairs of my favorite summer capris do not stay up at all, though. I've kept trying to wear them; I'm right in style with my pants down around my crotch. That's not a good look on anybody, and def not on an old fat lady.

This slays me!  LOL   I don't mind big around the house, but I've always had a "thing" for proper fit.  Right now, it just seems that my waist is falling behind my thighs, making me think that a tummy tuck may eventually be in order (I really don't want plastic surgery).

Mine stopped after day 5 lol. I didnt lose for 8days. But in the first 5days I lost 17lbs...amazing right? Now Ive started losing again. I started fretting but the doc said its all normal...and like everyone said...somehow you lose inches cause my clothes feel looser then they have in awhile.

Good luck
