Frozen treats...like ice cream, sorbet, novelties that are WLS friendly...

...except that they aren't ice cream, sorbet and novelties like the Drumstick or chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich...

Does anyone have any suggestions? I didn't say anything, but earlier when we were trying to watch the movie "Rancho Deluxe" (one of my all-time favourites...I'll be most interested to see who else has seen it and likes it as I do) and my wife was chowing down on a pint of B&J's Chubby Hubby (the name notwithstanding) I was seriously wanting to eat ice cream as well...

As much as I loved chowing down on my mango-flavoured Chobani Greek yogurt, it was just one of those moments when it's clear that the other person clearly has the better treat (and both know it) but you put on the brave face and are resolved to enjoy yours as much as the other is so effortlessly enjoying theirs...

The only thing I have found that doesn't cause dumping, is Sugar Free Fudge Cycles.  They are so good.  There is also Sugar free popcycles, but I am not a fan of the flavors.

Nik used to have some protein ice cream recipes, but I haven't checked her blog lately. I've used some walmart brand, sugar free ice cream, but more than a tablespoon or two and I dump anyway.

Get an ice cream maker and throw your mango Greek yogurt in it. 15 minutes later you have a frozen treat that's good for you.

Problem solved. My bill will follow

SF popsicles are ready made and inexpensive. One thing I do for my wife is to make SF snow cones.  Very little calories, and you use Torani or other SF flavors to suit your taste.  I got a Victorio  snow cone maker on Amazon for around $33 with shipping.  Use ice cubes from your freezer, grind them in machine and discharge into a bowl.  Add Torani or other SF flavors that you prefer, and insert spoon and eat.  Only issue involed to me is the larger glass bottles I find economical to buy over smaller sized bottles. I re-bottle a portion of the 750ml bottle into a plastic bottle with a flip top or pop up to to help control the flavoring discarge, so you don't overdo the amount poured over the ice.  This treat is inexpensive, satisfying, hydrating, and inexpensive source of cold treats over time.  We use our snowcone machine several times daily, and they usually last at least 6 months.  DAVE

Protein ice cream is a great treat.  Basically it's a protein shake, which you then toss in the ice cream maker for about 25 minutes and you get ice cream.  You can find tons of recipes on theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com.

There are no sugar added ice cream treats you can buy at the store, but the sugar alcohols bother some people.

I love Klondike's No Sugar Added Krunch Bars. Mmm.
They're 6g of sugar, and I always tolerate them very well, and they taste just like regular Klondike bars.

Yup to Nik's post. Get an ice cream maker, toss your shake in, and you too have ice cream. You can even get sugar free cookies/chocolates to chop up into it, or fresh fruit (I love a chocolate shake with dark cherries and Smucker's SF chocolate sundae syrup!).
