I'll try anyway, for some reason my threads aren't showing up.

Im A 41 year old homemaker living in rural PA. I have a wonderful husband who is one year post RNY and is looking mighty fine! We have aa beautiful 20 year old daughter who is at home, in college, and is off to the gym already this morning ( can't wait to join her again)

I joined this forum when I saw a post my surgery sister Lisa posted about nausea, which actually put me back in the hospital. So not fun! I'm 7 days out from surgery today. Still not feeling my normal self but everyday is better!

PTI had a major life changing event at age 34 when I had a massive stroke. Which has set be back a bit, but also gave me the strength to work harder at everything I do, even though my learning curve may take a little longer. While looking through old family photos to regain some lost memories I found myself putting together a scrapbook......and my love of paper crafts was born.

I enjoy art. You can see some of my cards in Paper Crafts magazine, Card Trends and Cricut magazine. I'm very proud to have had a card on the cover of Paper Crafts this year.  I really enjoy making cards, and have also recently taken up sewing and made my first quilt. But honestly I like instant gratification so everyone I know who has an iPad or kindle fire has a custom made cover. I'm sure it won't take me long to find something else I need to make, I guess I'm always learning new things.

Welcome and conrats on your surgery!  I am so glad to hear you are doing much better.  I am pre-op myself, my surgery is on July 3rd so I am SO close!!  I am a 40 year old single mom of an almost 6 year old who I can't wait to be able to keep up with!

Love that you are into crafts!  I wish I was more crafty, or even had more time to be!  Would love to see your work, where can I view it?  Do you make Kindle covers for sale or just for gifts??

Anywhoo...welcome to the board.  We are glad to have you and I wish you continued sucess on your journey!

Thanks! You are very close, you'll do great!

I have sold a few, I don't have an online site to sell them but if your interested ill send some pics if you pm me an email address. I have 2 that my mom took to work for someone to look at, if one comes back ill take a pic of it.

Here is a link to an iPad cover that is very similar.

Of course if you have a favorite color in mind I'd be happy to customize one, no 2 are the same, I like to have fun making them.
