No, small to moderate amounts of strawberries (along with all other fruits and veggies) are just fine. There are a certain number of people, though, who are so adamant about not eating carbs that they don't eat fruits, veggies, dairy, etc., which is clearly not a healthy, well-balanced way to eat. Not eating rice or pasta or white bread is clearly different than not eating strawberries or beans just because they have carbs in them!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
my plan really focuses on balanced meals, with healthy carbs, veggies/fruits and protein at every meal. i tend to not do the grain/carb, but do have veggies and/or fruits at every meal.
also since i don't eat meat, a lot of what i eat for protein are things like beans and tofu, so that carb count is higher, but it doesn't bother me. i'm still losing at a good pace.

I'm almost 4 years out. I eat around 1700 calories a day with around 100 grams of protein and 100-130 grams of carbs, but lately my carbs are a bit higher because I'm on a big grape kick.
