Walking 2 hours a day is not the most efficient use of your time as far as promoting more weight loss is concerned. An hour on an elliptical machine and an hour of weights would do more for you. Everything else looks good. Many people here do everything right and still end up at a higher weight than they hoped for. But you are still early out.

I wanted to get to 154 but I got to 180 and flatlined there for a long long time. Then I upped my calories a bit, and I dropped down to goal briefly  then back to 10 over my goal (I was seriously ill, so it made sense I got to goal and didn't stay, 5 days in ICU will do that to you). I remained 10 over goal for a looooong time and then I upped my calories a bit more and then I dropped back down to goal and below.

You say that you have 2 servings of starches. What types of starches? Why don't you list your food for the day, allow those of us who have been there to share thoughts. Don't neglect anything you consume (even liquids)

I absolutely can't say a thing about exercise, as I'm awful at that.

Also, is it the number on the scale that is bothering you, or is it the SIZE you are that is bothering you? I wear a 10/12 now, and was down to an 8 briefly (accidentally too, as I bought a size 10, but they did a price-check and put the wrong pair of pants in the bag).

Remember that the number on the scale should really be the LEAST of your worries. Your health and your size should be far more important. Not everyone is suited to being a size 6. When I was a size 8 I was a walking skeleton and looked seriously ill like "do you have cancer?" ill, and there was no way (aside from major plastics) I would get down to a lower size. I might have gotten to a size six if I had my tummy, mons, and thighs done, but can't afford it and don't want the pain. I'm happy in my 10/12s even though I do need to re-lose 10 to 20 lbs. (okay, 10 pounds)

I think you should up your calories a bit and also change your routine of exercise to jolt your metabolism into action.  Do some resistance training, circuit training, etc.......  Should see a difference. Let us know what happens.

Up your calories. You are working out 3 hours a day but only giving your body 1000 calories a day.  And feed it a few carbs before workouts so it has some quick energy to burn.

Hi, just wanted you to know that we both have the same surgery date and I'm also 5'2"! My weight loss has been very slow but steady since the beginning except for the last 5 weeks. I was gaining and losing the same 3 lbs (very frustrating). Quite by accident I broke my stall by going waaay over my calories by eating tons of watermelon for 3 days (i'm talking close to 2,000...yikes) I'm thinking maybe you can try upping your calories for a few days and see if it works for you also. By the way our weight loss is very similar. Chin up, we will succeed .

My vote is to increase your calories and protein a little and mix up the workouts!  I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!  I'm a shortie too and want so badly to hit my goal. Keep us posted!
