I eat 1/3 of a banana due to the sugar content.  I've been eating PB since the 2nd week.  The PB2 powder has less fat and comes in regular or chocolate.  Many grocery stores are now carrying it, as well as, health food stores.  The PB2 website has recipes as well.  The powder is also easy to use in drinks.  I plan to make Nik's Ghetto Pad Thai using PB2 on Monday.  I do eat a teaspoon of regular low fat/sugar PB too when I want just a little snack.

i guess i will use very little peanut butter on my banana even though is low in sugar I'm so afraid to dump. i never want to experience dumping.

I've had no problems with it:) I could only eat half a banana though with some PB.

It should be fine as long as the sugar in the banana doesn't bother you.  I have no trouble with fruit but someone people do if they eat too much because it does contain natural sugar in the form of fructose.

This is the first I'm learning about pb2! I had my Rey on the 11th. Could I mix the pb2 in a protein shake or do I have to wait until I am in a different stage?

I don't like to get in the way of what your surgeon wants you to consume at this point but PB2 was on my approved list 4 days post op.

i saw in weightloss surgery for dummies a protein shake with peanut butter recipie  and that was for people who are in the pureed foods stage so yes is the answer.

I would just be careful. Half a banana and 2 Tbsp of PB in a protein shake gave me my worst dumping episode ever.
