I took "nekkid" photos of my body from four angles, full body front, left side, right side, and back
Then I'd look at them side by side.
What I realized is that with a lot of weight in your torso, your arms don't drop down from your shoulders perpendicular to the floor, they'er at an angle because they are resting on flab. When you compare without clothes you also aren't allowing any of the clothing to hide or diminish the real you under it all.
I noticed as I got smaller, the biggest noticeable change was in the angle of my arms to the floor. From a nice 30 degree angle off perpendicualr, eventually they just hung straight down towards the floor, as the flab in the arms and torso reduced, I began to have a stance like a normal thin person.
I also noticed that if I "cartoonized" my nekkid photos, with that feature of a paint program that comes with my computer, the angle of the lines used to draw my thighs got closer and closer to parallel as the fat disappeared. It was an interesting time.
