The cheeseburger pie post made me think of my Taco pie recipe. It is so good. So here it is.

1lb of Hamburger
1 sm onion
1pk taco seasoning
1 can green chilies chopped (or whatever veggies you want add)
1 egg
2/3 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. Milk
Shredded cheese blend

Brown hamburger (drain) add onion with meat. Add taco seasoning & put in green chilies & or other veggies. Mix together & put in pie plate.(Remember to spray the pie plate with some sort of cooking spray as it will stick if you don't)  In separate bowl mix the egg, milk, & Bisquick together & pour over top of meat mixture. Add cheese & bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Where do you get that Carbquick? I might have to try that instead of the bisquick.

Netrition mostly. Good, $4.95 flat rate shipping. On my blog (link below) there's a Netrition search box on the right if you want to use that (a portion of your purchase would benefit the blog if you did) or go directly to www.netrition.com.

I make taco casserole. Here's my recipe:

Nice! I certainly will use your link. I will definitely have to try you taco casserole too. You have many recipes that I think are fabulous. I've even shared your site with my mom, she is doing weigh****cher but those recipes are good for all & she really likes your site too. Thanks for giving so many of us healthy suggestions & options. I love to cook, but sadly I love to cook the foods that aren't quite so healthy. I'm a southern girl & you know how we southern girls like to cook. Fried everything.  Lol I've got to learn to cook the right way.

Any idea of at what size ie 4oz. Calories, Protein, Fat, Carbs. etc. Sounds great. My wife and I used to have a Taco Friday but now we try but it is not the same. Maybe this would help.

Honestly I have not broke it down yet. This is what I made for years pre-op. If I make it I will definitely use a recipe builder so I can get the nutritional info, but sadly as of now I have nothing for you my friend.

Larry....I was missing Tacos, too.  Thanks to a bunch of people on this site, I was given
the idea to wrap my taco stuff in lettuce leaves!  I did it and it fixed my Mexican urges!
I used Bibb lettuce.
