Is it possible
Yes, it's a bad idea. Unless you are working closely with your doctor and following a diet he recommends designed to lose so much weight so fast, that is. It's not a safe amount to lose unless supervised by a physician. I'm sorry if your parents are pressuring you to lose weight in an unsafe way, and encourage you to follow your surgeon's plan, regardless.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
do you have to lose it by a certain date, or no bedroom set?
If there's no time limit to the promise, do it the right way. follow the plan.
I would sometimes lose quite a lot -- in fact each month I would have one week where I lost a LOT (then the next week, not so much, then flatlined, then GAIN -- repeat cycle)
Do what's right, you'll get there.

No, unless you lose a lot of water weight (which will come right back), even on all liquids -- unless you work out a lot, every single day -- you cannot create a large enough caloric deficit to lose 14 pounds in 7 days! In order to lose 14 pounds of a true fat, you need to burn 49,000 calories. That would be burning 7000 more calories than you take in EVERY DAY!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
