Not sure if this is anything but I can not get answers from the Fobi Pouch message board. Not sure if everyone know the difference between RNY and Fobi but the only difference is the pouch is a little bit longer and the put a fobi ring(small band that fits around the top of your pinky finger) around your pouch so that you get stretch your stomach back out in the long run. but anyway, here is my problem.  I had my surgery in March and I am having some sharp pain under my armpit that runs down into my breast. this only happens if I bend over or stoop over. It kinda feels like it my be a lymph node or maybe I pulled something. It actually is in the fat part right under the armpit where the breast would stop if you went have way around to the side. When I bend over it is a sharp burning pain that shoots all the way into my breast. I asked my doctor and she thinks it might be that since I have lost 4 inches in my breast and the since I was top heavy that when I bend over it is pulling on the breast tissue and the tissue under the arm and to wear a sports bra to bed for awhile. Has only ever had this problem or any changes in their breast with pain from losing weight after bypass?

I called his office and nurse told me that it was not a problem that she had heard from the surgery and referred me back to my primary doctor. I was wondering if I should get a 2nd opinion and go to my GYN doctor. I just didn't know if this was anything that anyone else might have experienced. Maybe they are just heavy and they might be pulling on the skin and nerves? Who knows.

She was the one that said to try sleeping in a sports bra at night to see if that would help. She said that she did not feel any knots and that maybe the weight of them was so heavy that they are pulling especially since I have lost a lot of breast tissue and inches. Maybe I will ride it out another week and sleep in the bra a couple more days to see if  they pain goes away.

I had something similar happen to me and it did go away. Not saying it will for you, just saying what happened to me. I'd try what my pcp said for a bit and then if it didn't get better i'd get a second opinion.

Met my first goal, met my second goal, met my surgeons goal. Now I have a new goal!
