update on Cayenne

I just came home from the vet's office.  I took her some goodies and she ate some kitty treats, some shredded cheese, some turkey and gravy baby food and a little yogurt.  She acted like she was starving.  She didn't eat a huge amount but she certainly seemed hungry and seemed to like what she ate.  She seemed very perky, too.

She is spending the rest of the afternoon at the vet's but may be coming home this evening.  I am very glad.

I was so sorry to learn that Cayenne has been ill.  Maybe she just needed Mommy to feed her.  Max, Maggie, and I send our get well soon wishes!

Glad to hear it. Obviously did not like the cuisine or the wait staff. Sometimes they do that. Won't eat or drink or sleep at the vet. I had one do that when she had to have surgery down in Columbus. Wouldn't eat or drink and didn't want to use the littler box either. Nothing to do but send her home and hope for the best. As soon as we got her home she went right for the food, hissed at her brother, then went to pee in the litter box before she fell asleep. She is going to feel so much better when she is home.

Hee hee.  I guess she didn't like the cuisine.  That would be a first.  This kitty normally likes anything edible.

I hope all goes well with her. I'd be lost without my little bundles of fur.....

Glad to hear she would eat for you - a good sign.  When she is home I think she will do so much better - sleep more, eat more, etc.  My cat hated the vet and would actually get depressed until he was home for a couple days among his comforting things and places he liked to sleep.  It's looking good!
