If the price difference is a lot, i wouldn't bother with the 'extra', the calcium is the wrong kind, so is the VD and the b12 we can't absorb that way

Thanks for the heads-up! It's just the one I grabbed at the grocery store yesterday. I don't really care for the Stop and Shop organic brand's soy milk. Besides, I was jazzed with the higher protein content. :)

It's all about finding something I can tolerate--skim milk is upsetting my stomach now, even with Lactaid and no surgery yet. If this doesn't work, I'm trying hemp milk next.

My nutritionist has me drink unsweetened almond milk due to the carbs and sugar in regular milk.  I drink the unsweetened vanilla and I really like it.  It is is the Silk brand.  Check it out!  I like the vanilla better than the regular unsweetened.

I do unsweetened vanilla in both Silk and Almond breeze. My absolute fave is the almond breeze almond-coconut unsweetened. Oh my.

Be happy.

 No.

That's straight cane sugar.

Unsweetened organic SILK soy milk has 2 or 3 grams of sugar - and used sparingly is okay.  There are some with less - some boxed shelf-stable brands have 1 gram.  Soy Slender is one brand.
