I have seen this on the topic line for awhile and have no idea what it stands for???

NON scale victory

Going on an airline flight without needing a seat-belt extender

Or wearing a size 12 for the first tiem in their life

Or anything not related to a number on a box on the floor.

Ah yes. ICYMI.... this is what it stands for.... cool beans.

I hate ignorance specially about computer stuff.

I remember way back when the internet was mostly just a baby, the BBS system was alive and thriving in silicon valley where I grew up. One of my many many many computer geek buddies heard my lament over no cat smileys, so he made up a bunch of text-smileys and included a section of kitty smilesy and put it out as freeware.

Those were the days.... I remember one of the most popular mac-based BBS's in apple-centric Silicon valley had 1000 members.... about 10% were phoning in from long distance - Italy, Greece, France, England and all over the United states. Of the 1000 members using the board, there were two women. Myself (23 years old) and a 50-year old married woman from colorado.

I went on a date every day for an entire summer, sometimes more than one in a day.... one day I hit a record. I met one guy for breakfast, another for lunch, a third for an afternoon movie, a fourth for dinner, and a fifth date for a late night movie and party. Those WERE the days.

I miss being young, geeky, and footloose and fancy free. (mostly just young though).
