I forget to take mine...what time of the day is best?  I know I should not take the b-12 late in the evenings I am up all night as it is.

It doesn't really matter what time of day.  It doesn't work to take them all at once, though.  We can only absorb about 500 mg calcium citrate at a time so we need to take three or four doses of that during the day.  We also need to take our iron at least two hours away from our calcium because calcium blocks the absorption of iron.

I take (when I remember) what my doctor recommends fusion viatmins.  I honestly have not checked the bottle.  I do take my b-12 when I am feeling tired.

Bariatric Fusion?  You need eight of those a day.  And if you take more than one at a time, the calcium in them will block the absorption of the iron, so you'd need to take extra iron.

It's really a good idea to take your B12 regularly.  If you are so low on B12 that you are feeling tired due to it, you're low enough to be causing yourself other symptoms.

Yes those are it.  Oh gosh I have to go back and read the bottle.  I really think I read 4 a day.  As far as the b12 goes I didn't realize I had to take that one regularly.  I get really really tired and I feel like my body just wants to shut down.  Almost a sinking feeling.  I haven't had any labs done but I did have a bone density done 2 weeks post op at that time everything looked good.  I go back in September but I can call my doctor at any given time if needed.

The bottle says four a day, but that's wrong.  the ASMBS says we need 200% of the RDA of stuff and four of those vitamins only gives you 100%.  Plus they don't have enough calcium if you just take four a day.  So you really need eight.

I would expect a bone density scan to look fine at two weeks post op unless you had bone loss before surgery.  You wouldn't develop any kind of deficiencies in just two weeks.

I will make sure to ask about another bone density when I go for my 3 month follow up.

I have to set my vitamins in a place where I will remember to take them.

Ummmmmm

I am a BAD example. I only took my multi's, one iron, one calcium. And I JUST took that last multi/calcium.

Sigh...tomorrow is a new day.
