Super Saturday! What's on your plate / schedule?
I'm in a **** for food eating spiral. Woke up drenched in sweat, cold and clammy at around 3 am the past two nights. My food is crap.
Today would have been my baby brother's 34th birthday. The pain is just as great now as it was 9 years ago when I lost him in a car accident.
I don't want to hear anything about him being in a better place or anything like that. There's no better place than here surrounded by peeople who love you. And I know I'm being totally selfish when I say that because I just miss him so damn much and would give anything to roll my eyes and throw a curling iron at him just one more time. It just hurts.
What I need to hear is how food doesn't change things and how my eating crap isn't going to make me feel any better.
These are things I know, but they aren't really registering with me.

Eating crap isn't going to make you feel better, but neither is beating yourself up over it. You deserve to grieve safely, I hope you can find a way to do tht. Maybe the structure of sitting down and planning every detail of a good meal... to the way it will look on the plate.
