Physical Therapy

So today I had my first physical therapy appointment for my right side chest muscles from when I fell back in May. The therapist thinks I have or had a stress fracture with my ribs. Surprisingly my therapist knew that I wouldnt be able to take NSAIDS because of my gastric bypass. I was literally in shock, I dont expect everyone I see (medically) to know what I can & cannot have. So needless to say it was a pleasant surprise when she knew. Anyways, we are treating the deep tissues with ultrasound heat therapy. She did manipulate my spine some & said my muscles were very tense. Now my back is so sore. Hopefully I will get some relief soon.

I hope it time that all medical personnel will know that we can't be prescribed NSAIDs.  The ones that I've come across have not known.  One told me that I was his first RNY patient.  I doubt that I am the first.  I'm probably the first to bring it up.
