Even if it's true, it still hurts sometimes

Having decided to terminate the intimite relationship with you, I'm pretty sure that his mind clicked into a different mode. Your compliment probably stepped over his boundary line and his inability to de-compartmentalize you left him unable to respond naturally.

Kelly, I totally agree with Charlie.  When you are feeling up to it physically, financially, and emotionally, kick him to the curb.

 You don't need to be around someone who doesn't appreciate you! Hugs!!!

Kelly.....We love you and appreciate you for the person you are. Are you in counseling? If you are, mention this incident. I know you mentioned something about not having the $$ to make any type of change; regarding moving away from this person. So all I can say is it's no fun when you are in a relationship and are not appreciated/loved/adored.....I have been where you are; so I can relate. Just love yourself and there is more to every person than their outward appearance. You are in my prayers.

 Have you ever heard him say something nice about anyone?  It might just be him and some men just seem to screw up their words.  

I wish I had the right words to say to make you feel better. Your post has me in tears. You have made so many positive changes and it seems as though your ex is having a hard time coping with the fact that you have grown as a person. It i my understanding that you are not able to move yet but I hope that things in that department change quickly. You are a wonderful person and from the sounds of it you ex doesn't deserve to have you in his life anymore.

 I am so so sorry! I 100% agree that your ex sounds like a DOUCHE!!! You are a beautiful woman with a new lease on life and you deserve to have a mate that will celebrate you no matter what. 

I met my husband on plentyoffish.com LOL he found me because we were matched as 99% compatible after both taking all the 'tests'. We lived an hour away from one another and I knew the day I met him that I would spend the rest of my life with him and I am! 

I don't care if you're 500 lbs, have boobs down to your ankles, are bald, or whatever. We were designed and created to love eachother and there is someone out there that is meant to love you the way you need to be loved and that *includes* someone that makes you feel like the beautiful woman you are!

Not pushing you to get out and date every guy that looks your way, but PLEASE stop letting that jerk of an ex come around. You just don't treat people like that. That guy doesn't even deserve your dinner company in my opinion. Sending big big hugs.

I've been crazy busy lately, and haven't spent much time on OH. I've checked in enough to know what's been gong on with your relationship though. I'm saddened to hear you've been going through all this. Tonight after reading your post I knew I had to take time out to say something important to you, especially about the subject line of your post......it  is NOT TRUE! (well except for the part where you feel hurt perhaps).  I  went to see if you had any pictures posted on your profile because the one that I see all the time is too tiny to see any details of what you look like. I thought the woman in your profile  had big beautiful eyes, the graceful neck of a swan, lovely long blond hair,  delicate yet beautiful  facial features, and an hour glass figure.

Many professionals say that depression is anger turned inward, and in this case I have to wonder if this has been your struggle. I would be miffed in the extreme if I were you. He does not deserve to be around such a wonderful, smart, funny, caring, and lovely woman as yourself. It sounds like Mr Blue Eyes only has skin deep beauty, and you have it through and through!
