Had another surgery last Friday

 Well, I am back again. I was admitted into the hospital last Wednesday (7/25) for abdominal pain. After some blood tests, they found I was very dehydrated and my potassium and magnesium were very low. They pumped me full of fluids hoping it would solve the abdominal pain. Friday morning (I gained 20 pounds in fluid in 2 days) my doc decides he is going to do surgery that afternoon. He found alot of adhessions and removed the source to that and some hardened fat that he said looked abnormal. 3 hours of surgery later I woke up feeling better. I am still pretty slow moving,the extra weight has disappeared,  glad to be home and the stomach pain has stopped! I love my surgeon, I swear he has saved my life more then once and I am so thankful for him! I go for a follow up on the 15th, but everything seems to be healing good.  Hope everyone has a great weekend! Its a beautiful day out!

 4 major surgeries in 4 months has definitely made me take to an optimistic way of thinking :)  I am almost down 100 pounds so I am very happy. No regrets here!

Your surgeon sounds alot like mine. Although I didn't go thru near what you have, I did have some complications and my surgeon never blew me off and was johnny-on-the-spot when I had a problem. Same with my daughter who also had WLS, same doctor. If you're going to have WLS, that is the kind of doctor you want for sure, and they are a huge blessing.

I'm so sorry all of this has happened to you. And your attitude is wonderful. I see SO much whining on here about just crazy stuff (sorry, LOL, JMO) and then see someone like you who has genuinely had problems and who has such a great outlook. That goes a long way to healing and success.

I hope and pray the problems are behind you and it's smooth sailing from here on out.

 I'm sorry you had to go threw another sugery. I'm glad your feeling better. I was there that day seeing dr lalor after he came out of sugery. I didn't know that it was for you :( Glad you are doing better
