Protein ice cream

Anyone know if its possible to make protein ice cream using a protein shake type mixture in an ice cream maker?

I have the ice cream maker attachment for my kitchen aid and was wondering if i could add protein powder to my ice cream somehow? Maybe blending it all up before puttingnit in the ice cream maker? Anybody ever done this?

Check out Theworldaccordingtoeggface.com and bariatricfoodie.com they have a bunch of different recipes. I recently tried a mix and froze it up it was a bit of FAGE greek yogurt a few strawberry's and mangos and a half pack of stevia it had a tart taste but was ok i only had about a spoon full just to get that satisfaction.

Stir a few big tablespoons of Sugar Free Cool Whip into your protein shake and then put it in the ice cream maker.
