I haven't posted this thread the last few days.  I hope you all have been taking your vitamins!  I have all mine in today except my iron and C, which I'll take at bedtime.  But I need to go do my B12 shot, too.  I usually do them on Fridays and I missed it this week.

Got yours in?

I just took all mine.  Well except for liquid iron, I need to find that somewhere.  Why can't we just take iron pills?  I took a b12 shot earlier this year.

i took

1 caltrate
1 dropper of subligual b complex liquid
1 b50
1 multivitamin

firefly, we can take iron pills.

I'm wondering about why you're only taking on multi and why you are taking caltrate?  We can't absorb calcium carbonate, which is what caltrate is.

Oh man are you serious? I knew I would fluck up the vitamins. Can you give me recommendations again?

I thought caltrate was calcium citrate!

Two multis a day.  Grown up multis with 100% of the RDA of most stuff.

1500-2000 mg calcium citrate.  We can only absorb about 500 mg at a time, so we need three or four doses a day.  Caltrate, Viactiv, Tums are all calcium carbonate.  Citracal gummies is tricalcium phosphate.  If you want chewable calcium citrate, you'll probably need to order it online although you might find some at Vitamin Shoppe.  You can get Citracal tablets or generic calcium citrate tablets at any store that sells vitamins, though.

54-63 mg iron, if you have periods.  Otherwise, 36 mg iron.  That's total iron, so if your multi has iron in it, count that, too.

B12.  350-500 mcg sublingual, or prescription nasal spray, or shots.

Yeah, I do B12 shots once a week.  I normally do them on Fridays.  In the first post of this thread, I said I missed mine on Friday, two days ago.  So I did it today.

The liquid sublingual was b12 I thought.
