OT - worried about my kitty Cayenne
Is Cayenne diabetic? If so, she could be having seizures and her balance may be impaired because of them. The pee and poop episode may also be related to diabetes, as she may not be able to hold it if her sugar is too low or too high. I've had three diabetic cats and they sometimes had these types of episodes.
I hope she gets better.

She is diabetic. Every time she has her blood sugar checked at the vet, it's always OK though. But I was wondering if she might have had a seizure. I didn't actually see her right when she fell, I saw her a couple seconds later, and she wasn't having a seizure then but she could have had one that made her fall.
She is schedule to see the vet in about ten days to get her blood sugar checked so I'll see what he says, but if she has any further problems, I think I'll call and make the appt sooner.

I would suggest at least calling the vet to explain this new behavior. The peeing/pooping would be a concern for me since it doesn't seem there was an attempt to make it to the litterbox. They will likely have you come in sooner than 10 days. She usually poops in the box but it's not real unusual for her to not make it sometimes. And this was pretty runny stuff, so I suspect she just didn't have a chance to try to get to the box. When she does poop in the box, she runs to the box, like she just has to go really bad all of a sudden.
I'm more worried about her falling off the desk where she was sleeping. She sleeps on top of the printer on the desk, and I moved the printer to the center of the desk, so if she falls off the printer, hopefully it will be a very short fall and she won't then fall off the desk all the way down to the floor anymore.
