LOL.. I am. Just sayin. Its funny and you guys understand. How do I explain to a non WLS person that I lost sooo much weight my butt hurts because of lack of cushioning.

I don't think they would get it
They would prob. think you were rubbing the weight loss in their face!

Yep, I totally understand and sympathize with you. I think we are both kind of close in surgery dates also. We just took a 5 week vacation ( drove to Alaska and back) and my butt just about drove me crazy hurting so bad!  I used two different rubber donuts and a pillow to no avail. We would just have to stop and let me walk around a bit. Now, we are home and it hurts to sit on the toilet the worst but all other chairs in the house hurt too! I hope this goes away with time.  My Orthopedic Dr. said there is nothing that can be done about the pain except tylenol.  That helps sometimes.... BUT I will take the pain with my skinny butt rather than have a FAT one again!! Blessings!

Been there done that!  I actually went out and bought a "coxyc pillow" !  LOL!  It helped me but the pain got better and better over a period of 3 months and now only bothers me occasionally.  Hang in there!

Luckily this is the story for the VAST majority of postops who experience tush pain. (some never do, those who never had a big caboose).... only few ever need to see a pain specialist and get a cortisone injection, and MOST of those get better with only one injection.

completely understand.  Sometimes I feel like I am sitting on stones...go to check and realise I am feeling my own tailbone!  Have had to buy a gel pillow for my car and a donut pillow for the house...really annoying...but a NSV anyway :)
