Got yours in?

I just took my second multi and third calcium citrate, so all I have left is my iron and C at bed.

My husband puts mine right in the TPN 3 days a week. I now have the strongest and longest growing nails I've ever had.

Did you ask why he recommended that?  I take magnesium oxide to help with constipation.  In large doses, magnesium citrate is used as a laxative - that's the stuff they usually want you to drink to clean you out before a colonoscopy or something like that.  I assume it would not have that effect in small doses, though.

When you get labs done, you should be getting your magnesium level checked.  There are not separate tests for magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide, just like there are not separate tests for calcium citrate and calcium carbonate.  They would just be testing your magnesium level.
