Am I accidentally over eating?
I'm only 8 months out, but I think you've been doing great so far! I'd say, as long as your sticking to your plan, youre probably okay. Everybody's plan is different (so different!) that I think it would be hard to know if you're eating to much by comparing to what others are eating. I'm still only at 2 oz a meal, per my NUT and doctors instructions, but I know others who had the surgery at the same time, who are eating 3/4 of a cup or even a cup and we all have the same doctor and the nutritionist. But everyone's body is different, so the amount of food allowed is also different.

At 5 years out, here are some random samples of what I can eat before getting full.
- 3/4 of a small size Wendy's chili with one packet of saltines (2 crackers)
- half of an open face tuna and cheese sandwich (that would be about 2 ouces of tuna (w/mayo and sweet relish), an ounce slice of cheese, on half of ONE slice of whole grain bread
- 1/3 of a 9 ounce filet mignon with 5-6 bites of veggies or baked potato
- a regular/junior size fast food hamburger without the bun
- half of a bagel with cream cheese
- all, or almost all, of a regular frozen dinner (without rice or pasta)
- about a 4 ounce serving of chicken
- one and a half boiled eggs (plain or as egg salad)

I am 10 months out.
This is what I am eating today.
B- protein drink .......has lot of fiber.
l- 3 oz of chicken, 2 cups of lettuce, 1 cucumber, 1 tablespoon of pumkin seed and 9ml of olive oil
(2 cups of coffee with half and half and stevia)
D- 1 cup of a mixture of mostly low fat hamburger, corn, peas, onions and peapods. I will be eating some additiona veggie with this.
snack- protein drink of some sort.
It is a small pouch day but I will add things like a piece of glutten free bread to a meal if I am still hungery. or sometimes I have a cup or so of cottage cheese and blueberries instead of a meal or additional protein drink. I still have about 10-14 lbs to loose for a bmi of 22%.

It depends on what it is for me too. I can NOT eat a sandwich - bread doesn't go down very well. Occasionally I will have a small piece of a roll with butter because I really miss bread.
For breakfast I had a Quest protein bar... about 2 hours later I had a protein/banana/chocolate (sugar free/skim) shake from Starbucks... snack after my group a single serve bag of Kay's Naturals protein cookie bites... dinner was about 3 oz of ham and a small tossed salad... snack was Greek yogurt... before bed a handful of almonds and if I am still hungry - protein pudding.

I will be 9 mons out on the 15th I can eat up to 8ozs at time without any complications.. At times I think I am eating like I did pre-surgery and I'm miserable and sick..... I concentrate on my proteins first they my fruits and veggies... I also eat my fruits and raw veggies as my in between meal snacks especially since I don't feel like I stay full for extended periods of time .. I'm assuming that's because of not eating starchy carbs...
