Got yours in?

I just now took my second multi and second calcium.  I'm not having a good day.  I might be up long enough to get my iron and C but maybe not.  No way I'll get that third calcium.  Blah.

I go through some days that I just can't force the vitamins down.  I will take my alergy pill and my synthroid but can't bare to swallow the rest of my pills.  Thank goodness those days are rare; well, 1-3 days a month.  I still try to get my iron in at night though.
I figure there must be others out there like me???

 Kelly,

Quick question. I have a friend who is having a revision in two weeks. I was looking at the paper work her doctor gave her re: vits. it says to take a fish oil supplement. I thought we were not able to absorb oil based vits. On the same token I am newly pregnant and my OB called in Prenatals that had DHA in it, they were also a gel type capsule. I since had them change it. Do you think it's necessary to have them changed?
I don't see my bariatric do****il the 28th.

TIA!

We malabsorb fat, which means we don't absorb all of it, but we do absorb some.  So we would absorb some of the fish oil, just not all of it.

I would take prenatals without the oil because you really want to absorb all the vitamins in your prenatal, not just some.
