Anyone tried the gluten free zero carb bread from Julian Bakery? Hubby just found it online and was thinking of trying... I'm too early out to even consider it, but looking for input from anyonw who has tried it. Looks like they have several varieties some gluten free, some not... most are high in fiber and protein.

I have not tried it yet. I found a health store about 30 miles from my home that actually has it. I am going to purchase the 0 Carb bread and toast it up. I hope that it tastes good. I will let you know my thoughts about it.

How ever, I did try the Vans Waffles that I found at Whole Foods. I bought the Protein ones, that are gluten free. A serving is 2 waffles, but I only had one. This gave me 5 grams of protein. I also added a 4 oz of Fage 0% greek plain yogurt with a packet of Splenda mixed in and added a 1/4 of fresh mixed berries. It was delightful, filling and it tasted just like a dessert! I felt like I was "cheating" but it actually gave me a total of 17 grams of protein (including my 1cup of coffee).

I hope that the 0 Carb bread tastes good...I am getting tired of "rolling" my lunchmeat up and wrapping it around a cheese stick! lol

I tried it for the first time and bought two loaves. In my opinion it's better than the typical gluten free bread in the store that I've had and I like the variety. But its hard for me to tell since I had to buy it online and it was delivered to my porch on a hot day and it got soggy and I had to freeze it to dry it out and take a piece out of the freezer when I want a piece. It's pretty expensive for bread. I'm six months out and I can't finish one piece since it sits like lead in my pouch which is a good thing I suppose but not if it results in pain.  Everyone's different but in my opinion it was too expensive for bread, its not available in many stores so it has to be bought online and I don't like paying for shipping, and I was not happy that the bread was delivered in a regular box on a hot day and it hasn't tasted right as a result.  I believe that Weigh****chers makes a low carb bread that is good too. I don't know if it is gluten free or not.

I will have to try and find the WW low carb bread. The Julians bread is quite expensive, I am going to buy it at a health store, so hopefully it won't be too bad.
