Still in Pain?

I'm a week out, and I'm still in pain from my larger incision. The other ones are fine, but every time I make a big move (rolling over, move quickly, etc.), I get a sharp twinge that lingers for a while. I know I'm still healing, but the pain is becoming unbearable. I'm currently taking Tylenol Extra Strength--1 caplet every 3-5 hours, even at night. I'm going to call the doctor this AM, but I was wondering if anyone else had these pains?

I did especially in the larger incision....I couldn't roll over till about 4 weeks out...just felt like it put too much pressure on my stomach and I couldn't stand it.  The larger incision took longer to heal than the rest of mine also.  If the pain is increasing, I'd definitely ask about it.  Let us know what they say!   Take care!    sherry

Yes - this is my 3rd week post op and last week, I was still having pain. My largest incision and the one right in the middle of my belly are still very sore this week, but manageable without taking anything for it. I was surprised how much better week 3 is, compared to #2.

 Thanks for the help!

I just came back from seeing the NP, and she said it sounds like I pulled a muscle--ouch! At least I know what's going on, and no infection, thankfully!

I'm definitely still having pain in a few of my incisions, especially the one where the drain was.  I think it's totally normal!
