Increased hot flashes!!

I seem to be getting hot flashes a lot more frequently than I ever did before surgery. I know there are hormone changes with weight loss but don't understand these hot flashes. Anyone have any info??

No info but I can commiserate. I had like 3 hot flashes before surgery and then NONE for about a year. Then I had surgery and BAM - all the freakin time.

I had this issue for a few weeks post op and then it stopped.

Banded Oct 2008: 290
RNY Feb 2012:        245
Dr's set goal:    170 reached Oct 11, 2012
My goal:                     160 reached Dec 1, 2012
Today :                     145-150

I am half the person I was in 2008.

Well, I'm not the only one! Thanks to both of you for the replies. I have a follow up in Sept and will ask my surgeon.
