Daily Atheist Quote

I have to wonder (and I feel really egotistical wondering this) had I never asked the question I asked, if this post would now be 4+ pages?

I dunno. I don't think I'm that important so...

I like people. I'm a people person. I ask questions when I don't understand things and I will argue to the death when I think I am right (although just as often I am WRONG!).

That rynbiz guy blocked me. I think he did not like me exposing his inconsistencies.

It was removed after several of us complained - it was particularly hateful!   Thankfully it is the only anti-gay thread I have seen on here - thank goodness!!!!

 I wish.

But as an example. You can't even suggest that someone 'Be good for goodness sake'. And not cause an uproar.  SMH  (DC AA bus add that the religous sect condemned)

Like religious intent is proprietary of all good deeds.

Not true.  Hitler and most of his men were Roman Catholics, not atheist.  Look it up.  And the other guys may have been atheists, but they didn't kill people because of their atheism.  They killed people because they were ruthess, sociopathic dictators.  NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN KILLED IN THE NAME OF ATHEISM. The only thing atheism means is "the lack of belief in a god or gods."  However, there have certainly been a lot of wars based on religion, haven't there?

Christians believe in one (or three, who's counting) god; they are atheistic to Allah, Zues, Apollo, Odin, etc.

I didn't ask if anyone was in a foxhole because of atheists ...

What I asked was if anyone was in a foxhole because of ATHEISM.

I don't believe any of those men (there is probably more to THAT word than anything else) were committing atrocities in the name of their religion or non-religion but for their political and social beliefs which should be heinous to all free thinking men and women - religious or atheists!

Religious views of Adolf Hitler

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia   Jump to: navigation, search   Hitler in 1933

Adolf Hitler was raised by a Christian Catholic father and a devout Catholic mother; he ceased to participate in the sacraments after childhood. He was himself a Christian and practised Christianity.[1][2] In his book Mein Kampf and in public speeches he often made statements that affirmed a belief in Christianity.[3][4] Prior to World War II Hitler had promoted "positive Christianity", a movement which purged Christianity of its Jewish elements and instilled it with Nazi philosophy.[5] According to the controversial collection of transcripts edited by Martin Bormann, titled Hitler's Table Talk, as well as the testimony of some intimates, Hitler had privately negative views of Christianity. Others reported he was a committed believer.[1][2] Some recent works have asserted that he was in no way an atheist.
