Sept. 17th...it's on!!!

So, got my surgery date for Sept 17th and I don't think it's really set in yet.  Start my liquid diet on the 3rd...not looking forward to that.  It's been a long road that's led me to this decision and I'm ready to start my new life...but I'm nervous lol.  I've just come to the conclusion that I can research and talk with people til I'm blue in the face and I'm never going to be fully prepared.  Oh, I may THINK I am, but I won't know until I do it.  I just kind of have to wonder, this decision has consumed my life for so long, what's next?  What happens after I lose the weight?  Guess I'll just have to wait and see!!!

me too!  I'm scheduled for the 17th :)

I see both my PCP and my surgeon for my pre-op appts next week.

Then it's on to the liquid diet.  I've warned everyone that basically all through September I will be a real ***** so they will just have to deal!

I'm excited and just want to get it all over with so I can start on this journey!

I go next week for pre op appts too!  I've already apologized ahead of time for my behavior lol.  I wish I could just sleep through the 2wks before and the 2wks after .  Good luck!

Surgery buddies! I am on the 18th! Good LUCK!!!

My surgery date is Sep 17th as well. So not looking forward to the 2 week pre-op diet, but its worth it. I have done alot of research and planning, not so much for me but for my family after surgery. I hope your surgery goes well.
