I really hope you guys are feeling better soon. I definitely know what it's like to have depression and the sudden inability to move. Though mine is because I'm less than 4 weeks post op. which does raise a question. As far as sleeping pills when needed, can we take any? I'm talking OTC, not prescription. Like, does Tylenol pm work for us if we need it? Or would it be a better bet to get an rx?

Regardless, I do hope things improve for you quickly. Like someone else said, I hate knowing someone do nice and helpful is suffering. And you both (Kelly & Lora) have been huge help for me. I'll be thinking of you while I lay here wide awake listening to my fiancé snore and making me all sorts of jealous. :)

Sure, we can take sleeping pills.  OTC or prescription, just make sure any OTC sleeping aid doesn't contain NSAIDS.  Is there an Advil PM or something like that?  I don't know, but if there is, don't take that.

I'm sure there is, but I've come to terms with the fact I'm stuck with Tylenol for the rest of my life. But hey, as long as I can sleep eventually, I guess it's ok.

And ma'am, if you're online, you're not trying very hard to sleep. Off to bed for you!!!

Wow! If I had know there were so many awake last night I would have stopped tossing and turning and we could have all chatted here! Kelly, I am in the same boat as you this week. I am depressed over an ER trip for back pain in which I found I may need surgery for. Going today to a chiropractor, calling for PT, and pain management. We'll see what happens with all that before I have the nerve conduction tests for preop.
Anyway, took Vicodin didn't help, gonna ask for sleeping pills today and hope I will make it to work Wednesday.
