I can chew! Hooray! It took me about 50 minutes to eat two roll-ups, but damn, it was SO good. LOL

I definitely feel much more satisfied with that than the shakes, but will definitely be working soft foods back in slowly.

I have arrived on the other side, and it feels good.

I'm impressed. At 2 weeks post op I ate some soft cooked tilapia and spent the better part of the day regretting it.

 Ooooh...I can see that.

I'm a little nervous about the shrimp I picked up, but that's tomorrow's food challenge. I definitely was not a fan of shrimp ****tail pre-op, but it may become my BFF post-op. We'll all find out soon enough!

Cut that shrimp up really well!  It can be chewy.  I'm  4 weeks post op and on soft foods.  Tonight I'm trying crab legs!!!  Loved it preop and hoping I still love it post op!  Sounds good!

Awesome!  I have my 2 week post op appointment this afternoon and I hope to get moved to the next stage.

The "stage" I came home with allowed me to have ricotta cheese.  I also got approval for my husband to make me gazpacho.  So I've enjoyed a teeny tiny bit of chewing (if it can be called that).  But I'm really kind of dying to have refried beans.  Two weeks is the longest I think I've ever gone with no mexican food and I'm flipping out for it! Lol.

 That's awesome!

I totally agree about the Mexican food--this is the longest time without it! My heart breaks for some. I don't consider chili Mexican, but Refried beans and cheese is on that list. ;)
