I was directed by my doctor to go back to soft foods because everything else I throw up.. I have tried everything and I throw it up..

I am so sick of protein shakes, cottage cheese, yogurt and cheese.

Anyone have ideas to mix it up ??

I am almost 4 weeks out and still can't stomach pass soft foods.

I want to throw up every time I eat eggs-- I used to be a egg lover.. it makes me want to vomit when trying to eat it..

How about applesauce with a little unflavored protein powder, or mashed potatoes with unflavored protein powder, or protein pudding. Also, Syntrax Nector protein is good. You can mix the cherry with Crystal Light lemonade and ice for a slushie.

You're welcome. Also low fat refried beans are a good choice!

Ricotta cheese topped with tomato sauce and a sprinkle if parmesan and or mozzarella... nuke for 30the seconds or so.
I made low fat low lactose mac and cheese using lactaid skim milk and a blend of reduced fat cheddar cheeses mixed in with regular montery jack cheese. My surgeon recommends very soft cooked small pastas... I used mini pene, but also considered acini de pepe... .

Everything made me sick to start with. I was told no corn no potatoes . Tomato soup, grits with cheese, and re fried beans saved me. Its been three months and I don't have any food problems except bread taste like paste and noodle do too. Strange.

I used ground turkey and onion soup mix to make a meatloaf that is very juice and soft. It goes down very easy. I also chopped up some raw salmon and made patties with a little greek yogurt and feta cheese. Instead of grilling, I baked in the oven with some broth to keep it very moist and that also was very soft and went down easy.

I love love love soup with non flavored protein powder. Low fat cream of chicken, low fat cream of broccoli both made with skim milk.

I pureed black beans with a little broth and garlic.  Heat that up on the stove and then when you get your measly little 3 oz add a squirt of lime nd a dollop of sour cream (or greek yogurt).  Was the only thing I could stand for days.

I heard that eggs are hard for people especially early on... How about refried beans and cheese? Or chilli blended?

If you are getting soft foods down I would think you don't have a stricture?? But is your surgeon concerned about one?

This will sound really dumb but are you chewing well enough?  slowing right down when you eat?

I sincerley hope you are feeling better soon!  Good luck.
