so sick of soft foods- other foods make me throw up

I found out eggs are hard earl on as well due to the "rubbery' and dry texture.  I'm convinced that's the reason I had some problems on soft foods.  I am back on clear fluids until my "stuck food" feeling disappears and I feel good for a few days.  When you do go back on regular food, stay away from eggs for a few months.  Another good soft food is meatloaf but use a food processor to blend everything up before baking it.

We are supposed to be on soft foods for much longer than 4 weeks.. maybe you just weren't ready.

My best friend had RNY last year and she still cannot tolerate eggs.

Everyone seems to really like ricotta.

Good luck finding something!!

Buy a 35 oz container of Fage greek yogurt, and a SF Jello pudding that sounds good to you. Empty the Fage into a bowl, add the box of SF pudding, and mix with hand mixer. Taste. If you'd like it sweeter, add a packet of stevia.  Scrape back into Fage container and set in fridge several hours.  Cheesecake SF pudding works good, and I've added Torani SF black cherry syrup for a black cherry cheesecake flavor.  I've also tried butterscotch SF pudding and SF pistachio, and both taste fine to me. The SF flavors take the edge of the aftertaste of the Fage, and it works well for me. You have a lot of flavor combos you can make with the several options on SF Jello pudding and the wide variety of Torani SF syrups. BTW, I add the unflavored whey isolate protein powder to mine, so a 3 oz portion has around 15+g of protein.  Just had some pistachio protein Fage yogurt 20 minutes ago. I struggled as well (still do and I'm 3.5 months)....and eggs made me gag!

I would do some hummas on top of mashed black beans

I also reallly pureed ground turket and made meatballs out of and did the ricotta thing ...yummy

Greek Yougart (plain) with Miss Dash mixed in and put on zuchinni that is baked in the oven, one of my treats

pinto beans with unflavored protein powder and chopped chives

Tomato soup with low fat cheese, avacado and lowfat sour cream

I was directed by my doctor to go back to soft foods because everything else I throw up.. I have tried everything and I throw it up..

I am so sick of protein shakes, cottage cheese, yogurt and cheese.

Anyone have ideas to mix it up ??

I am almost 4 weeks out and still can't stomach pass soft foods.

I want to throw up every time I eat eggs-- I used to be a egg lover.. it makes me want to vomit when trying to eat it..

You are on soft foods?  What about cottage cheese, ricotta cheese with a little spaghetti sauce, refried beans, any other type of beans, cooked veggies, chili, tofu, tuna salad, chicken salad, veggie burgers?  Most people are still on soft foods at four weeks out, or even still on pureed foods.  Most people don't move to a regular diet that early, so it sounds like you're pretty normal to me.
