Sorry to be so blunt....but I and a definite pear shape. I carry all my weight in my legs and butt. I am small on top. I would love to think that one day I will be comfortable enough to wear shorts but I hate to think what my legs are going to look like after this weight loss.

My surgery is scheduled for 9/26....I am excited!!

Any one have my body type and a 100 pound weight loss? What can I expect?

I'm the same and even after losing my legs and butt are still larger. Much better but still on the larger size so I still need to buy wide calf boots. I had a full LBL & thigh lift so that did help get rid of some extra skin. It's not bad but I probably notice way more than other people do since I've had to deal w/ it my entire life and  we all have some type of body dysmorphia w/ our own bodies

Thanks. Not sure how much just the thighs were since I had a breast lift w/ implants at the same time. Total for all was about 12k so I think just the thighs were in the 4-5k range as the boobs were the bigger cost in that. Also depends on what part of the country you are in for difference in prices.

I'm most definitely a pear shape and surgery won't change your genes, sorry. But you can be a pear shape and be a normal, healthy size.

Google the celebrities Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Jennifer Love Hewitt if you want to see how good pear shapes can look. I think it looks very womanly. Not that other shapes don't, but it's my biased opinion AND I've had to really try hard to appreciate my own pear shape, so I think I've earned the right to espouse the beauty of that shape.

Look at my pics in my profile.
I used to be a pear. I'm a lot smaller all over. I'm more like a skinny hourglass. My azz and hips r gone.

I can only go by the pictures, but you still seem kinda pear shaped. It's just a very slim pear shape :)

More like a shriveled up pear. Lol
Measurement wise I am still a pear but my hips used to be 12 inches bigger then my waist. Now it's 9 inches.

Also Kim k bought her curves, I'll be enhancing my girls at some point.

I was smaller on top and big on the bottom.  I am now straight!!  It is weird I kind of have no shape...I lost my boobs and my butt!!!  I am flat in both directions and I have some curves but not like before.  I actually don't like it and think I am too straight. It could all just be in my head though cause sometimes I think I look fat and I know that is not the case as I have lost 162 pounds and I am a normal BMI now.
