Poll for those that don't take vitamins regularly
I am pretty good with my "morning' dose whi*****ludes 1 multi, my D, B12, Biotin (not necessary but it's when I take it) and a dose of calcium.
The rest doesn't happen very often. I may get the 2nd vit in once a week. My levels so far have been pretty good. My doc said I don't need to be on iron, because my protein levels are decent and the mirena iud has stopped my monthlies for the most part. They are monitoring to see if my levels drop, though I never really suffered with anemia pre - surgery so..
I need to create a ritual for night time

Oh that sucks. My period is now super unpredictable, where it was like clockwork before, but the actual flow is miniscule compared to what it was. Now some of the other side effects that only 5 in 100 get..I have them raging.. I finished my cycle last monday and saturday it started again, but is finished already so yuk. My doc says it usually takes around 6 months to stablize.
Are you sure yours is still in?

I actually do well with getting all I'm taking in which is 2 multis, a bunch of calciums, iron, B12, and D3. My biggest problem (like pwoo 10 mentioned) is the spacing. I'm having labs this week and given my ongoing menstrual issues I think I'm going to have to up my iron which I'm afraid means I'm going to have to stay up all night to get in all my iron and calcium, lol!
I'm definitely guilt of not getting them all in... They give me nausea just thinking about them. However, when I went to see my NUT this last time she told me I could go ahead and start taking centrum silver (and not chewable!) so next grocery trip I'll be getting those. I know how important they are to my health which is why I was so concerned to talk to my NUT about them. With that being said I did have my lab work done and all my levels were pretty good. I do know that won't last forever though....
It's interesting. My doctor/nutritionist rules are 1 prenatal vitamin, 1200-1500 calcium citrate (elemental calcium) and only extra iron, D3, B12, vitamin C if labs show it's needed. I do my labs every 3 months and I am in the normal range for everything even though my iron is showing a trend downward, it's still in the normal range.
Here in Canada we can't get Carbonyl iron. Mostly Femerate. I will be looking for Heme though. I've been tired though and wondered if I was low on iron. Labs say no.
I take my prenatal iron pretty religiously every day. Many days though, I am only at 900 to 1000 for the calcium. Why? I don't know. I just don't think of it? I need to get a docette or something to remind me.
