Kinda OT vent - Doctor office Communication

actually, LACK of communication.
August 21, I went in for a routine check up. Prior to my WLS I went in every 6mths and this was to be my last 6mth visit, I was being released to yearly.  When the nurse took my vitals, my heartrate was 50.  My doc wasn't overly concerned, but wanted to do an EKG just to check things out.  Well, in the EKG my heartrate dropped to 45.
Out of caution, my doc referred me for an echo of my heart. I went on 8./29.

On 9/6 I went to see my doc's PA because of being sick and an ear infection. I asked her about my echo results and she said I had minor regurgitation at my Mitral and Tricuspid valves, as well as an enlarged right atrium.  She said the doc was going out of town but I would hear back from them Monday or Tuesday in regards to the next step -whether leaving it alone, medication or follow up with cardiologist.

Monday... Tuesday - nothing.  Yesterday I called around 1130 and left a voicemail for the nurse that I was inquiring about my echo test results. No call back.
I'd called this afternoon and after a short hold, the receptionist said teh doc had not reviewed the results yet so I can call back tomorrow.

They act like it's nothing. I just wish they would consider what the PATIENT is going through, when they wait for results.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life!!
