Very Sensitive Female Topic and Embarrasing
i get your stressed about this. i'm not bullying. the 'thanks' in your post honestly came across as thanking those for not posting unless they knew something, NOT as a thank you to those who showed concern.
for whatever it's worth, personally, i find it best to not post when i'm in an emotionally charged state. it's way too easy for things to come across wrong, and to take things the wrong way. you can of course, do as you wish, but that's my experience.

Robin I read you don't want responses from others without experience. sorry I don't personally have experience but wanted to share that I know a lady that had what you are experiencing post WLS. It was a very painful experience for her that required surgery. Sorry you are dealing with this.
Ill try to locate her on my friends list and see if I can direct her here and possibly have her contact you through private message.

I know exactly what you are going through. Back in 2009 I had vaginal prolapse. I had it so bad that one day in the shower, I felt a bulge coming out of my vagina! I laid on the bed and asked my husband to tell me what it looked like...he said it looked like an egg. lol
I went to my Gyno and she did an exam and told me that I had vaginal prolapse and that I would need to have a hysterectomy and cystocele reconstruction along with a rectocele repair. I was so embarressed to let her know that I had been "splinting" to actually poop! She said that it was the worst that she had seen and that she was suprised that I had not came to see her earlier.
I also had severe incontinence and I was leaking all of the time. I had to see a Urologist for this and they were able to coordinate with my Gyno to do the surgeries on the same day and time, they took turns.
During my surgery I had a hysterectomy with cystocele reconstruction, a bladder sling (vaginal mesh) and a rectocele repair.
I was in the hospital for 5 days and it was well worth the minor discomfort (pain) after surgery. They gave me very good pain meds and when I came home, I literally stayed on the couch for a week with ice packs on my private parts and taking vicodin. I had my surgery in May 2009.
Just for the record, my doctor told me that doing the kegels was a good thing to do after my surgery but it would not have helped me prior to the prolapse. I weighed 238 lbs and I am only 5'3" . I also have had 6 vaginal deliveries.
I had my RNY on 4/25/2012 and let me tell you that I feel so much better! I also have osteo-arthritis and fibro and since I have lost a lot of the weight, I am only occasionally taking my tramadol for pain.
Good luck to you and take good care of yourself. It was scary for me too and I did a lot of resarch online...because I was so embarrassed to discuss with my PCP (male) and I was afraid to see my gyno, I seriously thought that I had a tumor coming out of me.

BTW, just in case you were wondering...Splinting is when the back wall of your rectum that is on the other side of your vaginal wall has stretched due to the stress of the weight and being constipated. I had to put my fingers into my vagina and literally push against the wall of my vagina towards my rectum to push the poop out.
I read that you are going to make an appointment to see your Doctor in the a.m. I do hope that you can try to relax (easier said than done) but it is not a life and death situation. Try to get your rest and feel better.
Big Hugs to you for being so brave to talk about this very personal health issue.
