Were you overweight as a child?

Yes sadly, I was in the 6th grade on high blood pressure meds.

Actually, I was just the opposite.  I was so skinny all the way through school that kids made my life a living hell, especially in high school.

I'm 5'8" and when I left high school I weighed 98 pounds.  When I married my husband, I weighed 113.  My whole life up into my early thirties I could eat and drink anything I wanted and never gained an ounce.

Hope you can get your revision...

I was a a regular average child.  I did not gain weight until I was molested at age 11.

When I was in 5th grade I weighed 100 lbs. I remember because it was 5 cents a pound day a****er world and we had to get weighed on this ginormous scale.

I was rail thin until about age 16. Then I "balooned" up to 140. Of course I thought I was obese. I really started gaining in college and right after.

I had my surgery 4 years ago and have been maintaining my loss for almost 3.

No, never had a weight problem until my second pregnancy at age 34.  Combination of thyroid, PCOS and inferitlity treatments started me on a downward spiral.

I am three weeks post op and excited about how this tool will help my metabolism reset itself.

Good luck!

Nope. Didn't start to gain weight until I was 22.

I came to the USA weighing 98 pounds wet ... I remember growing up in Panama as a tomboy on an open farm in the country which we still have... we were all wormy kids eating fruit off the ground and climbing the tall coconut trees ... we were are so bony that mom and dad use to give us supplements and put cod liver oil and stout and you name it in our milk to fatten us up according to them and their old fashioned remedies ... we remained like sticks ... When we moved into Panama City we still all remained very thin even going to the U ... we walked a lot ... did a lot of activities and none of us were ever fat ...shoot I think any extra ounce of fat would have sizzled off in the tropical sun on some days LOL .... Then I came to the USA ... very thin .. a young adult in my twenties and weighing 98 pounds .... then I got married and pregnant with my DD at the end of that pregnancy I went up to 175 pounds .... and managed to come back down to 140 pounds and maintained there for four years when my son came along ... AND ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE .... at the end of that pregnancy I was way over 200 pounds ... life happened ... I loved being a working mom and at some point I traded working the floors and I became a paper pusher in admin ... my used to be very active life became more a sit down for hours type of job and run home to the kids so by the time my son was two I wa****ting the 300 pounds mark ... situation with the ex became unbearable and ended in near tragedy ... then I met my current DH ... a CHEF mind you ... go friggin figure ... end of story .. he cooked - I ate..

I got to the highest recorded weight of 327 pounds when I went to the cardiologist for chest pains wound up with a Holter monitor and a call the next day to tell me my blood glucose level was off the chart ..that high ... went to my PCP to be told that I was morbidly obese and a type II diabetic (started on Glucovance 500 bid)  to compound to my already existing hypertension and hyperlipidemia not to mention sleep apnea and I was already on nexium for GERD and arthrotec for my knee pains.... you think that should have rushed me into surgery ... it did not but it planted a seed ... until my DD fell and I could not make it up a flight of stairs to help her ... then I did something about it ... I got WLS .. and I will never go back to that place of co-morbidities if I can help it... I an maintaining a 203 pounds loss for 5 years 7 months now... with 0 co-morbidities.

I have always been fat. I went on my first diet in fourth grade and I weighed 128 pounds. The nutritionist was doing my history and physical and commented that I was born at a normal weight, but since I was  born "premature" at 35 weeks, I was actually overweight at birth. At that moment I felt I would never be thin. It's so crazy that I remember that!
Good luck with your revision!

I was always thin until I had my last child (2 years ago).  I struggled to remain thin but this was my first experience at being "obese" and it sucked.

Surgery weight:  232 lbs. / Goal: 145 lbs. Height:  5'5"     Fat? Ain't nobody got time for that.
