Monday!?!?! What are you eating / doing to cope? :)

Monday Monday..... good times.

 Sleep didn't come easy last night... but this morning is super nice out.  I was considering going to a class at the gym at noon, but I think I will work in my barn some, gotta get stuff ready for cooler weather and #1 is getting set up for new hay - if the farmer ever gets a chance to cut it.
  Regardless of morning exercise, I work this afternoon, will FLEX an hour or so to go to Spinnerval class, then wor****il 1am.

B - 6oz of skim milk
L - if gym - ww waffle, peanut butter, 1/2 banana; no gym? - Nik's Magic Meatballs, bertolli sauce, ww tortilla, pickle
S - carrots / celery / hummus
   - protein shake (Click or mint cookie) w/ 4oz milk
D - tilapia, cheese, veggies
S - protein power balls (BANANA!)
   -  almonds if needed

 Monday has given me a case of the blues.  I could have totally used a three day weekend this week.  After a super crappy eating week the scale was not my friend today.  Too much sodium, much water retention and the start of a new week to correct myself

Today's eats as I know them
B:  Protein Shake
MS:  Cottage cheese w greek yogurt and pistachio pudding mix
L:  Nik's Taco Casserole, yum, though it's too wet, but a good first attempt at it
AS - Tomatos and cucs
D:  cupcake lasanga
ES - something low/no carb! 

Exercise will be a walk around the lake with the support group girls and if the wind stays down an early bike ride today.

What am I coping with now????

Doing: Being insanely busy. This is a short week at work for me as I am attending the FitBloggin conference at the end of this week with my good friends Shelly (aka Eggface) and Beth (aka Melting Mama). I hope I don't get too starstruck! Later this evening I have spin class, then my daughters want me to hang shelves in their room. Somewhere in there I also need to make/photo a few BF recipes and play with the puppy. Oy! Being me is TIRING!

Eating:

1. Cottage Cheese w/ sf peach butter
2. Click Vanilla Latte
3. Tilapia with veggies, an apple (this is not mentally satisfying to me but I will deal with it)
4. Probably just coffee this afternoon
5. Something before spin. Maybe some yogurt.
6. My last smothered pork chop.
7. Um...something sweet. Because I always end my day with something sweet.

Coping? Not so much. I'm getting a cold and I'm home with the kids today...karate was a disaster with the 3 1/2 year old just yelling and screaming at me the whole time. Now they're both just driving me batty. I feel like I need a nap, desperately.

Started the day with an hour at CrossFit. 15 back squats (max weight was 105#), then a crazy wallballs/running session. Today is day 1 of the Paleo Challenge, so here's my eats:

B: Southwestern Frittata w/ 2 tbsp salsa
L: Spring Mix, Cherry Tomatoes, 3oz Applegate Turkey Deli Meat and 2tbsp of a paleo-friendly ranch dressing I made yesterday.
D: Ground turkey stroganoff, cauliflower
Snacks: Nectarine, apple w/ almond butter

I feel weird not having more protein-forward snacks but can't figure out what I can have since dairy is out of the picture for the next 30 days. I don't want to "waste" calories on snacks by eating nuts. The CrossFit people running this say not to count calories but I just can't not do that. Any suggestions are welcome!

My friend at work made me homemade Hershey's chocolate fudge cake.  That's helping me cope!  And my birthday isn't until next week.  My bloodsugar is crashing now and I don't even care.

I need to walk today but its raining so I have to do the treadmill,,,yuck. Probably laundry at some point...also yuck. Try to get more water in.

 woke up with a migraine and stuffy nose this morning, weird that they came together. so i'm doing a lot of nothing, except trying to plan my sister (and mom, and my sister's friends) trip up to ny next weekend to start her wedding dress shopping. she planned for a limo to pick us up at my apartment and take us to kleinfeld's so i'm planning on getting some champagne (or sparkling wine depending on what they have at the trader joe's wine shop) and some mini cupcakes for the ride. i was going to to downtown today to get the champagne and to run to party city and get some cheesy things but that's not happening. i'm trying to decide if we should do lunch at my apartment, order in, or go somewhere before we go. and then we're going to dinner after so i'm trying to find a good spot that's between kleinfeld's and penn station since they'll be leaving afterwards. being a maid of honor for 2 brides and trying to write a thesis probably isn't going to work out so well lol, at least the other one isn't technically engaged yet (they bought the ring together though this past weekend) and they probably won't get married for at least 2 years. 

eats i don't really know yet. i ate some chicken earlier which seems to be sitting okay (i tend to throw up when i get migraines). i'm sipping some coke zero right now for the carbonation and caffeine, hopefully that helps.

Hello Monday! You showed up wayyy to early! I want to go back to Saturday when I spent the whole day with my Mom and Sister thrift store shopping, visiting my Angel of an Aunt Veronica, and having some next level BBQ dinner at Arthur Bryants here in Kansas City. Oh well going to make it through this week with a happy attitude and positive thoughts

B: Two hard boiled eggs, string cheese
S: Almonds
L: salad with 1/2 avacado and tomato, cottage cheese
S: Green bell pepper, 1/2 EAS 2g carb 20g protein bar
D: Taco salad w/o chips
S: Prob the other half of my protein bar
