Banana Republic... It's about time!!!
Okay, so Miss Lisa D had posted about going to Calvin Klein to get pants, so I thought, what the heck? I've always wanted to go into Banana Republic, love their clothes, but I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd fit into anything there.
Well, today I bought a dress, there. A size ten.
Then, I applied for a card, cause hey, I get 20% off! So she needed my ID. She looked at the pic an then at me and said, "Oh my goodness! You've lost weight! You look nothing like your pic! You look really good!"
I was so excited about the dress! I actually tried on like 5 dresses, but could only afford one (again, so expensive!) but I am totally happy that I could shop there.
I'm wearing this weekend at a convention, so I'll post pics then.
PS: did you know that they carried larger sizes? I didn't. I found some size 16's in there. I didn't know they carried that size, or I would've went there earlier.

It's a whole new world to be able to fit into clothes you'd only lust after..... now the only thing that stops one is the prices!

I have a favorite store on the coast where I would go maybe twice a year for nice, unique larger sizes. I was in that town a couple of weekends ago, went in, and ... even the smallest sizes were too big. I guess one can be sad and very happy at the same time!! I bought a ring that is adjustable, so guess that was my final hurrah in that store.
