OT - had my mammogram
Had my mammogram this morning. The radiologist looked at it while I was there and said he doesn't think it's anything to worry about. He wants to repeat the mammogram in six months just to make sure there are no changes, but it should be OK.
To do the special magnified views on the mammogram, they have to squish the breast more than they normally do when they do a mammogram. I would not have guessed they could make it that flat! Talk about ouchy. A man invented that machine, right?

I have been told that I have a sadistic side. That being said...I think it should be a Testiculargram, not a penogram. Squishing something that is flaccid, just doesn't seem equal enough. And men's balls seem more appropriate. Try getting them up on a hard plate, tug on them to get them in the right place and then squish them. I bet in no time, that there would be a better way to do the scan if men had to endure this!!!

My last mammogram sucked. Mind you my breasts were alot bigger and fuller then. I am sure when I have my next one it will be a peice of cake. Mine are so flat now there is not much to squeeze down. Yet they are long enough to stretch under the squishers no problem...ha ha. Ugh...the trials of losing weight...

Actually it was 2 men - shall we hunt them down and torture them now?
Not many people are aware, if there is a problem, they often do an ultrasound of the area of the breast that is suspicious. Seems to me that there should be something else they can do at this point other than torturing women. I absolutely hate it!!
