Question About Dumping

At 4 years out I rarely get the full dumping - I know better. But I my have some of the symptoms if I had too much fat or carbs. Not all of them.

Not necessarily all of them, but if you only have one symptom, chances are it's not really dumping.

Depending on how much sugar you ingest you can have a very mild episode (you might just feel a little shaky or have an increased heart rate and feel a but flushed, for example), have a moderate episode (heart racing, shaky, flushed, feel like you need to lay down), or have a full blown episode (all of the above, plus nausea and/or intestinal cramping and generally feeling sick like no flu you have ever had before!).
As Kelly said, if it is just one symptom, it is probably not even mild dumping, just something that didn't completely agree with you.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Eat something stupid.
Think, holy cow within 5-10 minutes & when will I ever learn?!?.
Heart starts racing
Very dizzy and light headed
Rapid breathing (like you're hyperventilating)
Sweating
Nauseated
Laying in fetal position and rocking side to side
At this point, family members may feel they need to call 911--now they just look at me like I'm stupid (which isn't that far off).
These symptoms are at it's worst for 8 minutes
Moderate symptoms for 7 minutes.
Then mild for 15 minutes.
Yes, this has happened enough times that I am able to time it exactly for 30 minutes, which takes me back to "I'm stupid and never learn"
Next, I feel like I can take a 2 hour nap, aka, carb coma.
