All in One Bariatric Vitamins
I dont really know why they have us wait so long, but I will ask him on tuesday @ my followup, as of the flintstones again it was what we were told to take 2x's a day, I'm assuming b/c they are chewable and all our meds have to be able to be crushed/liquid/chewable that may be why.
they have said that b/c we wont be able to absorb certain nutrients that they have found that the flintstone vitamins are the best choice for us. other than that ,all I can say is that I had my surgery @ geisinger medical center and they are constantly doing research on different aspects of how and why things work the way they do w/ bariatric patients so they must have a reason.
they have told us that there are many things that they cant explain why they work the way they do and they are looking for the answers and hopefully they will be the first to find out. !.. we were also told that their program is going on 13yrs and unlike some other programs they will follow us for life, some people go every 6 months after the 1st year others go as often as every 1-3 months, it depends on how often we feel we want/need, and I know for oct alone I had 6 appts scheduled w/ the nutritionists and dietitions even b4 I went into surgery, we also just dont have them and the surgeon we have an entire team of doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants that we see on a very regular basis so that we can have success in the long term.
so I have to trust that they know what works the best.

Well so now I am confused. the ASMBS on thier website advocates Opurity vitamins as a once a day vitamin. What gives?
